What You’ll Need

  • Warm water
  • Mild soap (like a gentle detergent or natural soap)
  • White vinegar
  • Baking soda
  • Stain remover (optional)

Instructions

  1. Begin by dabbing the stained area with a damp cloth and mild soap. Do not rub the area as this may cause the stain to spread.
  2. Mix equal parts white vinegar and warm water and soak the stain in this mixture for 15-20 minutes.
  3. Mix baking soda with some warm water to create a paste. Apply the paste to the stain and gently rub it in. Let sit for 15-20 minutes.
  4. Once paste has set, rinse the stained area with lukewarm water and blot with a towel to remove solution.
  5. Check the area for any remaining stain and if necessary, apply a stain-removing product that's safe for delicate fabrics.

Tips

  • Always test any cleaning solution or product in an inconspicuous area of the fabric before applying it to the eye shadow stain.
  • It may take several applications before the stain is completely removed, so be patient and persistent.
