To successfully remove eye shadow stains from silk duppioni, you’ll need a few essential items:
Start by blotting the stained area with rubbing alcohol using a cotton swab. This should help to lighten stain and make it easier to remove. Be sure to dab, rather than scrub, the stain to avoid spreading it further.
Once the stain has been lightened, use a damp cloth to gently rub away some of the remaining residue. Keep in mind that you don’t want to rub too hard or you may risk damaging the fabric.
Once you’ve removed as much of the stain as possible, wash the fabric according to manufacturer’s instructions using a mild detergent. Afterward, allow it to air dry. Doing so will help to ensure that the stain is completely gone.
