Step 1: Brush Away Excess

First, brush away any excess eye shadow on the raincoat with a soft bristled brush. Avoid using a hard-bristled brush as it could damage the material.

Step 2: Pre-treat the Stain

Next, pre-treat the area with a stain remover or liquid detergent. Apply a small amount to the stained area and let the product sit for about 10 minutes before blotting with a damp cloth.

Step 3: Wash the Raincoat

Place raincoat in the washing machine with a mild detergent and cold water. To remove any remaining stains, add a capful of white vinegar to the wash cycle. Hang the raincoat up to dry in the sun.

Step 4: Spot Treat Again

If eye shadow stain is still visible after the raincoat has been washed, repeat the pre-treatment process. Let the product sit for at least 10 minutes before blotting with a damp cloth or sponge.
