The first step in getting rid of eye shadow stains is to brush off any loose powder from the affected area. This can be done gently with an old toothbrush. Make sure to brush in the direction of the fabric’s grain.

Once you have removed the loose powder, it’s time to create a cleaning solution. You’ll need a mild detergent, such as baby shampoo, and warm water. Mix together one teaspoon of detergent with one cup of warm water. Stir the solution until it forms suds.

Next, use a clean cloth to apply the sudsy solution directly to the stained area. Gently rub the solution into the stain in a circular motion. Don’t scrub too hard, as you could damage the material.

If your pumps have leather uppers, you may want to use a leather cleaner instead. Again, apply the cleaner directly to the stained area and lightly rub in a circular motion. Once you’re finished cleaning, allow the solution to sit for a few minutes before rinsing it away with lukewarm water.

To finish off, dry your pumps with a soft cloth or paper towel. Once they’re completely dry, you can enjoy your eye shadow free pumps!
