Tools You Need to Clean Eye Shadow Stains from Pullover
- Paper towels or clean, absorbent cloths
- Distilled white vinegar
- Baking soda
- Dish soap
- Laundry detergent
Steps to Clean Eye Shadow Stains from Pullover
- Treat the stain as soon as possible. The longer it sits, the harder it will be to remove.
- Saturate affected area with distilled white vinegar. Leave it on for about 10 minutes.
- Blot the eye shadow stain with a paper towel or clean, absorbent cloth, gently rubbing the fabric together in small circles to help lift the stain.
- Mix equal parts baking soda and dish soap to form a paste. Rub the paste into the stain and let it sit for 10-15 minutes.
- Rinse the area with cold water and blot with a clean cloth until the stain is gone.
- If the stain remains, mix a teaspoon of laundry detergent with two cups of cold water. Soak the affected area for 15-30 minutes and then rinse with cold water.
- Lay pullover flat on a clean towel and allow to air dry.

- Be sure to use a white cloth or paper towel as using a colored one could cause color transfer.
