If you are dealing with eye shadow stains on your one-piece swimsuit, the first thing you need to do is grab some detergent. Any liquid laundry detergent will work for this; just make sure it doesn't contain bleach. Once you have your detergent ready, fill a sink or bucket with warm water and add a few squirts of detergent.
Next, put swimsuit in the water and let it soak for about an hour. You can also gently massage fabric to help loosen up the stain. After an hour, check to see if the stain has been removed. If not, you may need to repeat the process or try a different method.
Another effective way to remove difficult eye shadow stains from your one-piece swimsuit is to use shaving cream. Apply a generous amount of shaving cream to the stained area and let it soak for 15-20 minutes. After that, rinse the area with warm water and hopefully the stain should be gone.
Another option you have is to use either vinegar or lemon juice. Simply apply the vinegar or lemon juice to the stained area and let it sit for about 10 minutes. Then, rinse off the area with warm water and check to see if the stain has been removed. If not, repeat the process until it is gone.
Baking soda is another great option for removing stubborn eye shadow stains from one-piece swimsuits. Just mix a tablespoon of baking soda with a tablespoon of warm water to make a paste. Then apply the paste to the stained area and let it sit for about an hour. Finally, rinse the area with warm water and check to see if the stain is gone.
Those stubborn eye shadow stains on your one-piece swimsuit don't have to ruin your day at beach anymore. With the tips and tricks outlined above, you can easily get rid of them and go back to enjoying yourself in no time.
