Have you ever been in a situation where your eye shadow leftovers ruined a pair of leather shoes or your bag? Makeup stains are one of the challenging messes to remove from leather. But with right technique and product, you can easily get rid of them without ruining the material.

Remove Eye Shadow Stains from Leather:

  1. With a cloth, wipe away the excess eye shadow.
  2. Rinse the cloth with a bit of water and then use it to scrub the stain.
  3. If stubborn stains linger, mix equal parts of rubbing alcohol and water in a container.
  4. Dip a clean cloth into the solution and rub it over the stain.
  5. Pat the area dry with a paper towel.
  6. To finish up, leave the item to air-dry completely.

It is not recommended to use soap or detergent on leather since they affect the leather's natural oils and cause irreversible damage. If the stain resists removal, take item to a professional cleaner.
