Using makeup is a great way to express yourself and enhance your beauty, but sometimes it can leave unwanted marks on your favorite things. Eye shadows in particular can be especially hard to remove if they get on fabric and other materials, like headphones. Thankfully, you can take action quickly to restore your headphones back to their former luster.
To get rid of eye shadow stains on your headphones, you'll need the following supplies:
You'll need to make sure the area is prepped before you start cleaning. Start by laying out a towel on a flat surface. This will help keep area clean and also provide a soft cushion for the headphones.
Mix together a few drops of dish soap with the warm water in bowl. Stir the mixture until it starts to create lots of suds.
Next, take the old toothbrush or soft-bristled brush and dip it into the sudsy mixture. Use the brush to scrub the eye shadow stains on the headphones. Be sure to be gentle so that you don't damage material. Once you're done, wipe away any remaining suds with a clean towel.
In order to make sure all of the soap residue is gone, rinse the headphones with some white vinegar. Dip a towel in the vinegar and lightly rub it on affected areas. Then, dry the headphones with a dry towel.
With these easy steps, your headphones will be free of any eye shadow stains in no time!
