If you’re wearing eyeshadow that contains oils or wax, apply rubbing alcohol to the stained area with a clean cloth. Let the alcohol sit for several minutes before wiping away the eye shadow residue.
If your eye shadow is made of powder or mineral makeup, mix some mild dish detergent with some lukewarm water and apply the solution to the stain with a sponge. After letting it sit for several minutes, blot the area carefully with a microfiber cloth and rinse with lukewarm water.
If the eye shadow stain still remains, mix one part white vinegar with two parts lukewarm water and apply it to stain with a sponge. Blot the affected area and rinse after letting the solution set for 15 minutes.
Finally, to help remove any lingering stains, apply a small amount of laundry detergent and scrub the area with a soft cloth. Once the stain is gone, rinse area with cold water, let it dry completely, and you’re done!
