One of the easiest and most effective ways to remove eye shadow stains from gloves is to use laundry detergent. All you need is some warm water and a small amount of laundry detergent. Soak the gloves in the detergent and water solution for 10-15 minutes and then rinse them thoroughly with cold water. Once the gloves are clean, lay them flat to dry or put them in the washing machine on a delicate cycle.
If laundry detergent doesn't do the trick, you can try using a vinegar solution. This method is especially helpful if the eye shadow stains are stubborn and difficult to remove. To make vinegar solution, mix equal parts white vinegar and warm water. Soak the gloves in the vinegar solution for about an hour, then rinse them thoroughly with cold water. Finally, put the gloves in the washing machine on a delicate cycle and dry them flat.
For tough stains that won't budge, use a baking soda paste. Mix together equal parts baking soda and warm water to form a thick paste. Apply the paste to the eye shadow stains and let it sit for 15-20 minutes. Then, use a damp cloth to gently scrub the stains until they come off. Rinse the gloves thoroughly and then wash and dry them as described above.
To keep your gloves looking brand new, make sure to remove any eye makeup before putting them on. You can also use a protective spray that prevents oil and other liquids from soaking into the fabric. If you find yourself dealing with eye shadow stains often, consider investing in a stain repellent spray to ensure that your gloves stay clean and looking great.
