Start by getting a clean, dry cotton towel and blotting stain as much as possible. This will help to absorb as much of the eye shadow as possible so that it doesn’t end up setting in the fabric. Keep blotting until you can no longer remove any more eye shadow.
Mix together one teaspoon of liquid laundry detergent with two cups of cold water. Then, dip a cotton towel into the mixture and gently pat stain until it’s covered. Let this sit for five minutes and then rinse the area with cold water.
Mix one tablespoon of baking soda with one cup of warm water and stir until it dissolves. Dip a clean cotton towel into the solution and apply to stain. Let this sit for an hour before rinsing the area with cold water.
Mix one tablespoon of white vinegar with two cups of cold water in a bowl and stir until combined. Then, take a clean cotton towel and dip it into the solution. Gently pat the stain with towel until it is completely covered. Let the mixture sit for ten minutes and then rinse with cold water.
Put fabric in the washing machine on a delicate cycle with cold water and mild liquid laundry detergent.Tumble dry on a low heat setting and check to make sure stain has been removed.
Removing eye shadow stains from georgette fabric can be quick an easy if you follow these simple steps. With the right materials and a bit of patience, you’ll have your favorite pieces looking good as new in no time!
