What You’ll Need
- A soft-bristled brush
- Dish soap
- Warm water
- A clean, soft cloth
Removing the Stain
Begin by using your brush with bristles soft enough not to damage the fabric. Dip it in warm water then apply a small amount of dish soap. Using circular motions, gently scrub the stain until it begins to lift. Be careful to avoid harsh scrubbing or you risk damaging the fabric.
After scrubbing, use a soft cloth to help remove any remaining residue. Be sure to rinse the cloth out often in lukewarm water. Once you have removed as much of the stain as possible, dip your cloth into the water again and use it to wipe down the espadrilles. Allow them to air dry.
