Gather Your Supplies

  • Vacuum cleaner
  • Rubbing alcohol
  • Soft cloth
  • Towel

Vacuum Away Any Loose Powder

Begin by using a vacuum cleaner to remove any powdered eye shadow that has attached to the curtains or draperies. This should be taken care of first since it may stain fabric as well if it is left for an extended period of time.

Dry Cleaning Solution

Next, make a cleaning solution using rubbing alcohol and water. Mix together equal parts of both solutions and dip a soft cloth into the mixture. Gently blot the stain with this cloth to remove the stain. Do not scrub the area as it may cause further damage to fabric.

Blot and Dry

Once stain has been removed, use a clean towel to blot the area dry. The rubbing alcohol will also help to prevent the stain from setting into the fabric.
