Steps for Cleaning Eye Shadow Stains from Coveralls

  1. Lay the coveralls flat on a table or countertop and brush off any excess eye shadow with a soft cloth.
  2. Mix 1 teaspoon of liquid laundry detergent with two cups of cold water in a bucket or bowl.
  3. Dampen a clean, soft cloth in the detergent mixture and use it to blot the stained fabric.
  4. Continue blotting until the stain begins to fade.
  5. Rinse cleaning solution from the fabric with cold water.
  6. If needed, repeat the process.
  7. Allow the fabric to air dry completely before wearing.

Additional Tips for Cleaning Eye Shadow Stains

  • It's best to treat stains as soon as possible. Delaying treatment could result in a more difficult stain to remove.
  • Be sure to use cold water when treating the stain - hot water could cause the stain to set.
  • If the stain remains after following the above steps, consider bringing coveralls to a professional cleaner.
