The first step to removing a stubborn eye shadow stain is to pre-treat it. Start by gently rubbing a bit of liquid laundry detergent into stained area. This will help to loosen the stain and make it easier to remove.
Once you've pre-treated the stain, you'll want to give it a good soak. Fill up a sink or tub with lukewarm water and add a small amount of liquid detergent. Submerge the stained fabric in the water and let it soak for at least 15 minutes.
Once the fabric has soaked, you can begin to rinse out the stain. Take the fabric out of the water and start to slowly rinse it with lukewarm water. Keep rinsing until all of the soap is out of fabric.
For the final step, you'll want to give the fabric a good wash. Set your washing machine to gentlest cycle and add a small amount of detergent. Once the cycle is finished, hang fabric up to dry.
