What You Will Need:
- A clean, white cloth
- Gently laundry detergent or stain remover
- Laundry pre-treater (optional)
- Cleaning brush or old toothbrush (optional)
Step 1: Blot Stain
Take the clean, white cloth and press it onto the eye shadow stain on your capris. Be sure not to rub, as this could spread the stain further. Try to absorb as much of the eye shadow residue as possible.
Step 2: Pre-Treat the Stain
Once you have blotted away as much of the stain as possible, you’re ready to start pre-treating. Use a good quality laundry pre-treater if you have it handy, or a small amount of liquid laundry detergent. Apply liberally to the stained area and work into the fabric with your fingers.
Step 3: Wash the Capris
Add your capris to your washing machine and select a gentle cycle. If the eye shadow stain is still visible after washing, repeat steps one through three.
Step 4: Brush Away
Once your capris have been washed and dried, take a cleaning brush or an old toothbrush and lightly scrub away any remaining eye shadow residue or debris. Be sure not to scrub too hard, as this could damage your capris.
