Method 1: Use Warm Soapy Water

To prepare warm soapy water for your stained watch, start by running lukewarm water into a bowl. Add a few drops of plain dish soap and mix in to create a soapy solution. Dip a soft cloth or sponge into the soapy water and wring cloth so it’s not dripping. Gently rub the stained area of watch with the cloth. Once you’re done, rinse off the watch with a damp cloth.

Method 2: Use Rubbing Alcohol

Before cleaning a watch with rubbing alcohol, test it in a small, less noticeable spot to make sure it won’t cause any damage. Assuming it’s okay, begin to clean the diaper stain with a cotton swab dipped in rubbing alcohol. Rub the soaked swab directly onto the stain and use a new swab as needed. Afterwards, rinse off the rubbing alcohol with a damp cloth.

Method 3: Use White Vinegar

White vinegar is an effective agent for removing stubborn diaper stains on watches. Start by mixing equal parts of white vinegar and warm water in a bowl. Using a clean, soft cloth, dip it into the mixture and lightly scrub the stained area with the cloth. Rinse off the vinegar with a damp cloth when you’re finished.

General Tips for Cleaning Diaper Stains From Watches

  • No matter which method you use, always avoid using any abrasive materials such as brushes as they could potentially scratch the watch surface.
  • Be sure to completely dry the watch after cleaning it with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Always perform a spot test before cleaning the entire watch.
