What You Need to Clean Diaper Stains from Toys

  • 1 cup baking soda
  • ½ cup white vinegar
  • Soft bristled brush
  • Cleancloth

Step 1: Soak the Toy in Vinegar Solution

In a bowl, mix together a ½ cup of white vinegar and 1 cup of baking soda. Carefully submerge the toy in vinegar-baking soda solution and let it soak for 10 to 15 minutes. This will help loosen any stubborn stain particles.

Step 2: Scrub Toy

After the toy has been soaking, use the soft bristled brush to gently scrub away at the stain. Do this in a circular motion until the stain is removed. For extra stubborn stains, let the toy soak longer or apply more pressure while scrubbing.

Step 3: Rinse the Toy

Once the stains have been removed, rinse the toy off with cold water. Use the clean cloth for drying it off, being sure to not leave any lint or residue on the toy.

Step 4: Clean Toy Again

Now that the stains have been removed, it's time to clean the toy again. Use the same vinegar-baking soda solution and a new cloth for cleaning the toy. Be sure to rinse it off with cold water before drying.

And voila! The diaper stains are now gone, and your toys can return to their former glory.
