Step 1: Gather Supplies

To clean the diaper stains, here's what you'll need:

  • Dishwashing liquid
  • White vinegar
  • Borax (optional)
  • A scrub brush or an old toothbrush
  • Warm water

Step 2: Pre-Treat the Stain

Begin by applying dish liquid directly to the stained area and gently scrub with a brush. Let the solution sit for 10 minutes in order to break down the thick oils in the diaper stain. Once 10 minutes is up, rinse the area with warm water.

Step 3: Treat the Stain

Mix together one cup of white vinegar with two cups of warm water. Soak a cloth in the solution and dab it on the stain. Allow this to sit for five minutes before rinsing with water. For extra tough stains, mix one tablespoon of borax with vinegar and warm water solution and add another few minutes before rinsing.
