We've all been there - you're getting ready to do laundry and you spot a nasty formula or breastmilk stain on your little one's sweatshirt. Luckily, these diaper stains can be removed with a few simple household items.

What You'll Need:

  • A clean white cloth
  • Borax
  • Ammonia
  • Baking soda
  • Washing machine detergent

Follow the steps below for best results.

Step 1: Soak

Soak stained area in warm water with a bit of washing powder for at least 15 minutes. This will loosen the stain so it's easier to remove later.

Step 2: Make a Paste

Mix together equal parts borax, ammonia, and baking soda to create a paste. Spread this over the stained area and allow to sit for 10 minutes.

Step 3: Scrub

Take a clean white cloth and dip it in hot water. Gently scrub the paste into the stain. Once the stain is gone, rinse off the paste with cold water.

Step 4: Wash

Launder the garment as usual with your favorite detergent. The stain should be completely gone.

That's it!

You're done! With just a few simple steps, you can make those pesky diaper stains disappear.
