1. Pretreat the Stains

The first step to tackling diaper stains is pretreating them. Before washing the item of clothing, apply a stain remover directly to the spots you wish to have removed. Let the product stand for 10 minutes before proceeding.

2. Rinse with Cold Water

Next, rinse the item with cold water. This will help remove some of the troublesome substances responsible for the stains.

3. Wash in Hot Water

Now it’s time to take sweatpants to the washing machine. Wash the sweatpants in hot water along with a detergent that contains enzymes. This combination can work wonders when it comes to removing difficult stains.

4. Air-Dry Sweatpants

Finally, air-dry the sweatpants. Heat from the dryer will set stain and make it much more difficult to remove.
