Step 1: Prepare the Sneakers

Take a minute to make sure that the sneaker is dry and free of any dirt or debris. Use a soft cloth to remove any loose dirt, then let the sneaker air dry for at least an hour.

Step 2: Apply Stain Remover

Once sneaker is dry, generously spray the diaper stain with a stain remover solution. Allow the solution to penetrate the stain for 10 minutes before wiping it away with a clean cloth.

Step 3: Launder the Sneaker

Place the sneaker in the washing machine on the gentle cycle, using warm water and a mild laundry detergent. If the stain is particularly stubborn, you may need to use a prewash spray first and leave the solution to sit for 30 minutes before putting the sneaker in the wash.

Step 4: Dry the Sneaker

Once the wash is complete, place sneaker in the dryer on a low heat setting. Alternatively, air-dry the sneaker outside. You may wish to repeat steps 2–4 if diaper stain is still visible after the first laundering.

Conclusion

Diaper stains may seem like a daunting task, but getting them out of your sneakers is easy. Simply follow the four simple steps outlined above to get rid of unwanted diaper stains quickly and easily.
