Using Detergent & Warm Water

One of best methods for removing diaper stains from clothing is to wash it in warm water with detergent. You should start by soaking the stained area in a bowl of warm water for 20-30 minutes, and agitate lightly if necessary. This will help loosen up any dried-on matter on the fabric. Next, mix some laundry detergent with slightly warmer water and scrub it into the stain. Rubbing area until the stain has lifted should be effective, but it may require some extra attention.

Using A Stain Remover Spray

Another effective method for removing diaper stains is to spray a stain remover directly onto the fabric. Most of these products are designed to tackle all varieties of stains, including diaper messes. Simply spray the product onto the fabric and wait 10-15 minutes before washing with your regular detergent and warm water.

Preventing Future Diaper Stains

The best way to avoid diaper stains is to treat them as soon as possible. Wet diapers should be changed frequently and any solid waste should be removed from diaper and fabric before washing. Treating the fabric with a waterproof spray or liner (such as PUL fabric) can also help prevent staining.
