First, take your stained item and soak it in a bowl or bucket of cold water for at least 30 minutes. This will help break down the solid waste and loosen up the proteins and fats that are causing the stain.

Next, grab an enzyme-based stain remover or laundry detergent and mix it with some warm water. Soak your garment in this solution for at least 30 minutes. While you’re waiting, turn your stained item inside out so the cleaning solution can penetrate the fabric more effectively.

After soaking is over, launder your item as usual. If you’re still seeing the stain, use another enzyme product and apply it directly to the stain. Let it soak for about 10 minutes before laundering as normal.

Another handy trick for getting out tough diaper stains is to pre-treat the area with a bleach pen or white vinegar. Let the product sit for a few minutes before rinsing out with cold water and laundering as usual.

Follow these simple steps and you’ll soon get rid of those nasty diaper stains on your shirt!
