Pre-Treating the Stain

The best way to get rid of diaper stains is to pre-treat them with a stain remover or detergent. Follow the instructions on the product label and apply a generous amount directly onto stained area. Leave it on for at least 15 minutes before washing.

Using Liquid Detergent and Hot Water

Fill your washing machine with hot water, then add a small amount of liquid detergent. Once water temperature has reached its highest setting, place the scrubs inside and let it agitate for a few minutes. Then, allow the cycle to run as usual.

Using Baking Soda and Vinegar

If the stain persists, try using a combination of baking soda and white vinegar. Create a paste by mixing equal parts of both ingredients, then spread the paste evenly over the stain. Allow the paste to sit for an hour before washing. When the cycle is done, you should find that stain is gone!

Drying the Scrubs

Once the washing cycle is finished, hang the scrubs up to dry or place them in dryer, using the lowest heat setting. Drying them completely will ensure that all bacteria is killed and any leftover residue from stain is removed.

Additional Tips

  • Always check the care label of the fabric before washing.
  • If stain is still visible after washing, repeat the above steps until it disappears.
  • Never use chlorine bleach on diaper stains.
  • Clean the area around the stain immediately to avoid spreading it.
