What You'll Need:

  • Mild detergent
  • Clean cloth or sponge
  • White vinegar
  • Bowl or bucket

Instructions For Cleaning:

  1. Create a mild solution by mixing one tablespoon of mild detergent in a bowl of warm water.
  2. Using a clean cloth or sponge, lightly dip into the solution.
  3. Gently dab the cloth on the affected area of the scarf.
  4. Continue to do this until the stain begins to lighten.
  5. For tougher stains, mix two parts white vinegar with one part water and repeat steps 2-4.

Treating The Stains

Once you have treated the stains with the cleaning solutions, rinse your scarf with clean, cool water. When the water runs clear, give the scarf one last rinse with vinegar and hang it up to air dry.
