Step 1: Blot Stain

The first step is to use a paper towel to blot away as much of the liquid as possible. If the stain has already set in, you may be able to break it up by dabbing gently with a damp cloth. Avoid rubbing or applying any pressure at this stage, as this may cause stain to spread or set in further.

Step 2: Apply a Cleaning Product

Now that you have blotted away as much of stain as possible, it’s time to apply a cleaning product. It helps to choose one that is designed specifically for removing diaper stains, such as Grease & Stain Remover or OxiClean Versatile Stain Remover. All you need to do is rub a small amount of the product onto stain, and let it sit for at least 10 minutes before rinsing it off with a damp cloth.

Step 3: Launder

After you have rinsed the area with a damp cloth, the final step is to launder the entire purse. Be sure to refer to the specific care instructions for your particular purse, as some materials may require special laundering techniques. For example, some faux leather purses may require cold water washing, while others may be machine washable.
