Step 1: Rinse the Stain in Cold Water

First, rinse the stain in cold water and let it sit for a few minutes until the stain is fully soaked. You can also use a soft cloth or cotton wool ball to gently rub the stain away.

Step 2: Apply Detergent or Pre-treater

Now, rub some liquid detergent or a pre-treater directly onto the diaper stain. Allow it to sit for 15 minutes. The pre-treater will break down the stain and make it easier to remove.

Step 3: Scrub and Wash

Once the detergent has had time to work, use a brush or scrubber to remove the stain from the fabric. Be sure to scrub gently so as not to damage garment. Afterwards, wash the pullover in a washing machine according to the care instructions.

Step 4: Re-soak and Repeat

If the stain still remains, re-soak the pullover in cold water and pre-treater solution. Then, repeat the scrubbing and washing steps above. If necessary, you can also try using bleach to remove any stubborn stains.

Final Step: Air-Dry

Once the pullover is clean, air-dry it. This will help prevent any residual odor from the diaper stain setting into the fabric.
