Whether you have kids in diapers or pets prone to accidents, there are few ways better to keep your pavers and concrete surfaces looking their best than by tending to any stains quickly. Here's what you'll need to do so:
Before you start cleaning, you'll need to gather the necessary supplies. In most cases, all you'll need is a bucket of warm water and a non-abrasive cleaner, such as dish soap. Make sure to read the label on the soap for instructions about safety and dilution requirements.
Once you've gathered your supplies, you can begin cleaning stains. Start by dampening a cloth or a soft-bristled brush with the cleaner/water solution, then gently scrub the affected area in circular motions. Don't scrub too hard as you don't want to damage the pavers or concrete.
You might need to use a bit more pressure around edges of the stain, but try to avoid making too much noise, as this could wake a sleeping baby or pet!
Once you've scrubbed away the stain, rinse the area with a hose or cloth. You can use a power washer if you wish, but be careful not to get too close to the area as it may damage the surface.
Once the area has been rinsed, use a dry cloth or towel to dry it off. Be sure to inspect the area to make sure all the stain has been removed before drying it off completely.
Finally, if you're dealing with diaper stains, consider investing in a protective barrier for the area. This will help protect the surface from future staining and make it easier to clean up accidents.
