Once you've identified stain, pour a small amount of hydrogen peroxide onto it and let it sit for about five minutes. This will help lift the stain from the fabric. If the stain is particularly stubborn, use an old toothbrush to gently scrub at the area. Be sure not to scrub too hard, as this may damage fabric.
Once you've pre-treated area, mix together some white vinegar and cool water and soak the stained area for about ten minutes. This will help to further loosen the stain from the fabric. Once the soaking is complete, rinse the area with cool water.
After rinsing area with cool water, sprinkle some baking soda onto the stain. This will help to absorb any remaining residue. Let sit for about ten minutes, then rinse with cool water.
Once you've finished the pre-treatment steps, throw item into the washing machine with your normal detergent. For extra-stubborn stains, you may want to add a few drops of essential oil to the wash to further help lift the stain from the fabric. Wash on a cold cycle.
