To begin the stain removal process, fill a sink or a bucket with lukewarm water. Add liquid laundry detergent to the water and mix. Place the macramé fabric in the soapy water and allow it to soak for at least 10 minutes. Gently agitate the fabric while it's soaking to help lift the stain.
After the pre-treatment, remove the fabric from the soapy water and rinse thoroughly with cool water. Then, fill a sink or bucket with lukewarm water and add 1/4 cup white vinegar. Place the macramé fabric in the vinegar water and soak for 10 to 15 minutes.
Now, take the fabric out of the vinegar solution and lay it on a flat surface. Use a soft brush and gently scrub the diaper stain area until the stain starts to lift. Rinse the fabric thoroughly and pat dry with a towel.
If the stain remains, make a mixture of 1 part liquid detergent and 1 part warm water in a spray bottle. Spray the detergent mixture onto the stained area. Take a damp cloth and gently scrub the fabric. After scrubbing, rinse and pat dry.
