Once you’ve identified the stain, rinse it with cool water and then apply some specific detergent to the area. Allow the detergent to sit for 30 minutes before washing.
Fill the sink or your washing machine with cold water and add a mild detergent that is specifically designed for delicate items. Gently swish the item around in the soapy water and allow it to soak for 30 minutes.
Once item is finished soaking, rinse it off and then place it on a clean, white towel. Gently press the towel against item in order to absorb any excess moisture, then lay the item out flat to air dry.
