When it comes to cleaning and removing diaper stains, it can be a hassle. The sneaky ‘telltale’ yellowish-brown spots refuse to go away, no matter how hard you try scrubbing them off. But don’t worry: removing diaper stains from your joggers isn’t impossible!
The first step is to pre-treat the stain by blotting it with a damp cloth or sponge. This will help to remove some of excess moisture and help prevent the stain from sinking deeper into the fabric of your joggers. Do not rub the stain as this could make it worse.
Once the stain has been pre-treated, mix a mild detergent with warm water in a bucket and gently dip a cloth into the mixture. Wring the cloth out to remove any excess liquid and then use it to carefully dab and wipe the stained area until it’s no longer visible. Rinse the cloth in between applications if necessary.
If the stain still won’t come out, then it’s time to reach for a specialised stain remover. Make sure to read the product’s label and follow the instructions accordingly. Once the liquid has been applied, allow it to work its magic for at least 10 minutes before washing.
Finally, place your joggers in the washing machine, making sure to select a gentle cycle or hand-wash setting. Finally, hang dry your joggers and voila – the stains should be gone!
Stubborn diaper stains don’t stand a chance against these easy-to-follow steps! With a little bit of patience and elbow grease, you can easily remove tricky diaper stains from your joggers in no time.
