Georgette is a lightweight, sheer fabric made from silk, wool, rayon or polyester. It is known for its beautiful draping and ease of washing. However, when it comes to diaper stains on your georgette fabric, it requires extra attention and care.
As soon as you spot a diaper stain on your georgette fabric, grab a clean cloth and blot up any excess liquid before it has a chance to set in. This will make lighter stains easier to remove later.
Mix together equal parts white vinegar, baking soda, and cold water to form a paste-like substance. Use enough of the mixture to cover the entire stain.
Using a clean cloth, rub the paste firmly but gently onto the stained area. This will help loosen the stain and make it easier to remove.
Once paste has had time to soak in and the stain is weaker, it's time to put your fabric into washing machine. Before you do this, make sure to check the label for anything special you may need to know. Then use a laundry detergent of your choice to wash the fabric with cold water.
If the stain is still present after you have completed all of the steps above, simply repeat them until it is gone.
By following the steps above, you can quickly and easily remove diaper stains from georgette fabric. With a bit of patience and elbow grease, unwanted spot will soon be gone!
