Before you start cleaning, you'll need to gather the following natural ingredients:
To get started, combine one tablespoon of baking soda with one tablespoon of white vinegar in a measuring cup. Slowly stir the ingredients together until they form a paste. Next, use a sponge or soft cloth to spread the paste onto the diaper stain. Gently rub the paste into fabric and let it sit for 10 minutes.
In a separate bowl, mix together one teaspoon of castile soap with one cup of warm water. Stir the mixture until soap has fully dissolved.
Using the sponge or soft cloth, gently scrub area with the soap solution. Make sure to thoroughly cover the entire stained area. If the stain is particularly stubborn, add one tablespoon of hydrogen peroxide to solution and continue scrubbing.
After the stain has been removed, rinse the area with cold water. Then, use a towel to pat the fabric dry. Air drying is recommended to avoid further damage to the flannel.
Now that you know the steps, removing diaper stains from flannel is easy! Just remember to always pre-treat the stain before scrubbing and to air-dry the fabric after washing. This will help keep your flannels looking their best for years to come.
