Ingredients

  • Liquid detergent
  • White vinegar
  • Baking soda
  • Old toothbrush or soft brush
  • Clean cloth

Instructions

  1. Mix together one teaspoon of liquid detergent, one tablespoon of white vinegar, and one tablespoon of baking soda in a bowl.
  2. Dip your toothbrush or soft brush in the solution and scrub stained area gently.
  3. Rinse off the detergent mixture with cold water.
  4. If the stain is still there, mix a new solution and repeat Steps 1-3.
  5. Once you've removed the stain, use a clean cloth dipped in cold water to rinse the area.
  6. Allow the fabric to air dry before using it.

Tips

  • Be sure to read the care label on your garment before attempting to clean it.
  • Test the detergent mixture on a small, hidden area of the fabric first to make sure it won’t damage the fabric.
  • Work quickly when cleaning stain; the quicker you can remove it, the less likely it is to set into the fabric.
