How to Easily Remove Diaper Stains from Cotton Denim

As parents know, babies and toddlers can have quite an appetite for mess-making. This rings particularly true for those who are still using diapers! If you’ve had the misfortune of finding yourself dealing with diaper stains on cotton denim, you’re probably looking for ways to remove them. Lucky for you, it's easier than you think.
What You Will Need
- Dishwashing Liquid
- White Vinegar
- Ammonia
- Baking Soda
- Rubbing Alcohol
- Cotton Cloth
Steps:
- Act quickly, as the longer a stain is allowed to remain it will become more difficult to remove.
- Soak the stained fabric in a mixture consisting of one-part dishwashing liquid and two-parts warm water for 30 minutes.
- Mix a solution of one-part white vinegar and two-parts warm water and rub the mixture directly onto the stain. Rinse well with warm water.
- If the stain persists, add a small amount of ammonia to the white vinegar solution and rub it into the stain again. Rinse well with warm water.
- Make a paste out of baking soda and warm water, spread it onto stain, and gently scrub with a soft cloth. Rinse with warm water.
- If all else fails, apply a few drops of rubbing alcohol onto the stain, and let it sit for about 15 minutes. Then, rub the area gently with a damp cloth.
- Let the fabric air dry completely.
