You'll need a few items before getting started. You'll need a laundry detergent or stain remover, a clean cloth or brush, and a bucket full of warm water.
Start by pre-treating the stained area with detergent or stain remover. Use a clean cloth or brush to rub the product into the fabric, applying pressure as needed. If the stain is particularly stubborn, let product sit on the fabric for a few minutes before continuing.
Next, fill a bucket with warm water and add a scoop of laundry detergent. Submerge the garment in water and let it soak for 30 minutes or so. This will loosen and lift the stain from the fabric.
When stain has been removed, gently rinse the garment with cold water and machine wash as usual. Be sure to use a gentle cycle and air dry or tumble dry on low heat.
Once garment has been washed and dried, you can enjoy the results of your hard work - a clean and stain-free chambray garment.
