When you notice that a diaper stain has made its way onto your Burberry fabric, act quickly to remove it. The sooner you can address the stain, the more likely you are to be successful in removing it. Wash the stained area first using cold water and gentle soap. Blot the area carefully and avoid rubbing it, which can cause further damage.
Many store-bought baby stain removers can be quite effective in removing diaper stains from Burberry fabric. Before you use a stain remover, however, test it on a small, inconspicuous area of the fabric first. Follow the directions on label and only apply a small amount of the product - too much could damage the delicate fibers of your Burberry garment.
For a more natural solution, try combining one tablespoon of white vinegar, one tablespoon of liquid dish detergent, and two cups of warm water. Dip a clean cloth or sponge into the solution and gently blot the stain, starting from the outermost edges and working your way in. Avoid rubbing the area as this can cause further damage. Rinse area thoroughly and let it air dry.
If the stain persists after trying one of these methods, it may be time to turn to a professional cleaner. Be sure to inform them of the type of fabric and stain you’re dealing with so they can use proper cleaning agents. Many dry cleaners offer spot and stain removal services, so be sure to discuss your options before committing to a full dry-cleaning.
