How to Clean Diaper Stains from Blouse

  1. Scrape off any solid residue. To remove any wetness or residue, scrape it away gently with a plastic spatula or spoon.
  2. Treat the stain as soon as possible. It’s essential to treat the area as quickly as possible before it sets. If possible, sprinkle a small amount of pre-treating soap onto fabric and rub it in lightly with a cloth.
  3. Soak up the stain on cold water. Soak the garment in cold water for at least 15 minutes or up to an hour, depending on the size and severity of the stain. After soaking, rinse the blouse in warm water. Be sure to check area frequently to make sure the stain doesn’t set.
  4. Wash the blouse on the highest setting. Once the stain has been treated and the fabric is completely dry, wash the blouse on the highest temperature setting. This will help ensure that the stain is completely eliminated.
  5. Rinse in cold water. After washing, rinse the garment in cold water. This will help prevent the stain from setting again.
  6. Hang or lay flat to dry. Once the garment is washed and rinsed, hang it or lay it flat to dry. This will help the fabric retain its shape and colors.
