Gather Necessary Supplies
- Mild soap (dish washing liquid or laundry detergent work best)
- Soft cloth
- Lukewarm water
- White vinegar (optional)
Directions
- If the stain is fresh, blot the area with a soft cloth to remove as much of the moisture as possible.
- Mix mild soap with lukewarm water in a small bowl.
- Dip a soft cloth into the sudsy mixture and gently scrub at the stained area.
- Rinse the cloth and repeat this step as needed until the stain is no longer visible.
- If the stain persists, mix 1 part white vinegar and 2 parts water.
- Dip the cloth into mixture and gently scrub at the stained area for 30 seconds.
- Rinse the cloth and repeat this step until stain is gone.
- Allow the fabric to air dry.
