Before you get started, make sure you have all the supplies you need ahead of time. You’ll need a bowl, white vinegar or club soda, a soft-bristled brush, and a soft cloth or paper towels.
Dip your soft-bristled brush into either white vinegar or club soda (whichever is available) and then gently scrub the stain. Don’t press too hard, as excessive scrubbing may damage the glass.
Using a soft cloth or paper towels, carefully wipe away the vinegar or club soda residue from the window. Make sure you wipe in the same direction to avoid spreading stains.
If the stain is still present, repeat the previous steps until it has been completely removed. Once you’re satisfied with the results, you can use a glass cleaner to make the window shine.
