Using Hot Water and White Vinegar

The first thing you should do is mix one part white vinegar with two parts hot water in a bucket. Dip a sponge into the mixture and squeeze it out after. Use the sponge to blot the stain, being sure not to rub or scrub it to avoid any damage. After doing this, use clean warm water to rinse the area.

Using Baking Soda and Milk

Another trick is to mix one cup of baking soda with one cup of milk and make a paste. Use a thick cloth or brush to spread the paste over the stain, rubbing in a circular motion from the edges of the stain toward its center. Put a few drops of white vinegar on an absorbent cloth and dab area after. Rinse the cloth and dab the area again to make sure all the paste has been removed. Finally, use a dry cloth or paper towel to blot the area dry.

Using Hydrogen Peroxide and Detergent

You can also try mixing 1/4 cup of hydrogen peroxide with 1 tablespoon of detergent in a bucket of warm water. Dip a clean towel or cloth into the mixture and squeeze out the excess liquid. Use cloth or towel to blot the stain, then use a dry cloth or paper towel to pat the area until it is completely dry.

Other Tips

Always test any cleaning product or method on a small, inconspicuous area of wallpaper before going ahead with the full application. Also keep in mind that the longer stain has been on the wallpaper, the more challenging it can be to remove it. If your attempts using the above methods do not work, you may have to have the wallpaper replaced.
