When dealing with a dessert wine stain, it's important to take prompt action. The sooner you start the cleaning process, better - as long as you use the right techniques. Here's what you need to do:

Step 1: Blot the stain

Start by gently blotting the affected area with paper towels or a clean, dry cloth. Be sure not to rub the stain, as this could cause it to spread. Instead, keep dabbing until all the excess liquid has been absorbed.

Step 2: Make a cleaning solution

Mix together a solution of one tablespoon of dish detergent, one tablespoon of white vinegar, and two cups of room temperature water. Use this mixture to thoroughly drench the stained portion of the wallet.

Step 3: Rub the affected area

Using a clean cloth, gently rub the affected area in a circular motion. Be sure to apply pressure, but not enough to leave any scratches on the wallet.

Step 4: Rinse

Rinse off the wallet with lukewarm water. Doing this will help remove any residue from the cleaning solution.

Step 5: Dry the wallet

After rinsing, carefully pat the wallet dry with a soft, clean cloth. Then leave wallet to air dry overnight, or place it in direct sunlight until it's completely dry.

Follow these steps and your wallet should be free of any pesky dessert wine stains. Good luck and happy cleaning!
