Many people love their UGGs for their cozy comfort and stylish look, so the last thing you want is to have them ruined with a pesky wine stain. Fortunately, dealing with dessert wine stains on UGGs isn't as intimidating of a task as it may seem – all it takes is a few household products and elbow grease.

Step 1: Blot It Up

The first step to getting rid of a dessert wine stain is to blot up any excess liquid with a paper towel. This is important because the longer the liquid sits on the material, the more difficult it becomes to remove stain. Gently press the paper towel against the stain, rather than scrubbing or wiping as that could push the wine further into the material.

Step 2: Pre-Treat

Once you've blotted up the excess liquid, it's time to pre-treat the stain before washing. To do this, start by mixing some liquid laundry detergent with warm water. Be sure to mix it well and test it on an inconspicuous area of the UGGs first. If it doesn't damage the material, gently dab the detergent solution onto the stain using a cloth. Allow the pre-treatment to sit on the stain for 10 minutes before moving to next step.

Step 3: Wash

When the pre-treatment has finished working, it's time to wash the UGGs. Fill a sink or large container with lukewarm water, then add a gentle detergent. Place the UGGs in the water and let them soak for 15 minutes. Afterward, rinse them with cold water and allow them to air dry.
