Step 1: Gather the Supplies You'll Need

First, you need to collect supplies you'll need to tackle stain. You'll need a clean, lint-free cloth, a good quality stain remover, warm water and a vacuum cleaner.

Step 2: Test the Stain Remover

Before you start using the stain remover, it is important that you test it on a small and unseen area of the coat. This will help you determine whether it's suitable for fabric or not.

Step 3: Apply the Stain Remover

Now, apply the stain remover directly onto the stained area. Using a clean cloth, gently rub stain remover into fabric in a circular motion. Don't put too much pressure otherwise the fabric may get damaged.

Step 4: Soak the Stain

Once you have applied the stain remover, soak the stained area with warm water. Make sure not to use hot water as it could set stain deeper into fabric.

Step 5: Blot Excess Liquid

Using a lint-free cloth, gently blot wet area of the coat. Place the cloth over the stain and press down lightly using your palm to absorb the excess liquid.

Step 6: Vacuum the Area

After blotting, turn your vacuum cleaner on and gently vacuum area. This will help to remove any residual liquid from the fabric.

Step 7: Repeat if Necessary

If the stain has not been removed completely yet, repeat the whole process until it's gone. Once the stain has been removed, let it dry and you're done!
