Step 1: Blot the Stain Immediately

Once you've realized that dessert wine has been spilled on your top, the first thing you'll want to do is act quickly. Grab a clean cloth and start blotting the stain as soon as possible. This helps to prevent stain from soaking deeper into the material.

Step 2: Make a Cleaning Solution

Once you've blotted the stain, the next step will be to create a cleaning solution. Add 1 tablespoon of liquid dish soap and 1 tablespoon of white vinegar to 2 cups of lukewarm water, and mix the ingredients gently. Then, use the solution to apply a small amount of pressure, gently dabbing the stained area and using circular motions to help loosen the stain.

Step 3: Soak and Rinse

Once you've applied cleaning solution, allow the fabric to soak for 10-15 minutes. After that, rinse the area with cold water and then air dry. If stain is not completely gone, repeat the process until it is.
