To begin, use paper towels or a soft cloth to blot the stain with pressure, pushing from the outside to the center of stain. This will help remove as much wine as possible from surface of the shoe.
Mix one teaspoon of liquid dishwashing soap with two cups of warm water in a bowl or bucket. Dip a clean white cloth or towel into the solution and wring it out until it’s damp. Blot stained area with the damp cloth.
Using a clean cloth or towel, gently dab the area with cold water to rinse away the cleaning solution. Then, use a dry cloth or paper towels to dry area.
If the stain has not been completely removed, repeat steps 2 and 3 again until the stain is gone. Then, allow the area to air dry completely before wearing the shoes.
