Step 1: Mix A Spot Cleaner

Start by mixing a spot cleaning solution using ¼ teaspoon of a mild detergent, ¼ teaspoon white vinegar, and one cup of cold water. Stir the solution to create a uniform blend.

Step 2: Sponge the Stain With the Solution

Gently blot the stain with a clean cloth, or a sponge dipped in the spot cleaning solution. Do not rub the spot as this could cause it to spread and set into fabric. Instead, start at edges of stain and work your way inwards.

Step 3: Rinse the Stain

Rinse the stain thoroughly with cool water, again, starting from the edges and working your way in. Keep rinsing until all traces of the stain are gone.

Step 4: Air Dry and Inspect

Once the stain is gone, lay garment flat to air dry. You may want to place a clean towel underneath it to absorb any excess moisture. Once the material is dry, inspect area to make sure that the stain has been completely removed.
