Have no fear though, the following steps will provide you with the tools to get rid of those pesky dessert wine stains with ease.
Instructions for Removing Dessert Wine Stains From Seersucker
- Mix a solution of warm water and dishwashing liquid. Make sure that the solution is sudsy.
- Using an absorbent cloth or paper towels, and starting at the outer edge of the stain, dab the stain with the sudsy solution.
- Continue to move inward when dabbing the stain. As you do this, stained area should become lighter in color.
- Once you’ve reached the center of stain, rinse the area with warm water.
- Apply stain remover -- such as OxiClean -- to area.
- Allow the stain removal product to remain for about 10 minutes before rinsing with warm water.
- If necessary, repeat steps 2 - 6 until the stain is gone.
- Gently blot the area dry with a clean, lint-free cloth.
- Launder the item according to the care instructions on tag.
